It has mostly the same functionality that their website does, but it has two advantages:

1. It can work with offline copy of the data. You can even edit the local copy and have it sync up after reconnecting to the net.
2. It's much quicker than Safari. Part of the reason is that it's a native app, but the other part is that since data is stored locally it doesn't have to wait for the network each time the app starts.

Check it out on http://geetasks.com

Re: Managing Tasks on the iPhone

kelabrown, thanks for the comments!
I haven't tried IMExchange yet, will have to check it out. I am a big fan however of Evernote, though not so much as an iPhone task manager. I think the real strength of Evernote is in capturing and indexing.
--mnassal

Re: Managing Tasks on the iPhone

My favorite is IMExchange -- mostly for it's syncing ability with Exchange. And -- another powerful app for me is Evernote. We aren't perfect yet but we are indeed working on getting the formatting exactly right. Your points have been noted down (menu driven CSS, changes in font size, table bg color, resized images etc) and we'll address these in Zoho Writer soon.

Re: DimDim— You won’t be hungry an hour later

Mark-

Thanks for this great post. To complement it, I developed my own app, Habits, which is for recurring tasks with no exact due date -- things like going to the gym every 2-3 days and cleaning up a little every other day. Habits helps you keep track of how well you are doing them over time.

If you are interested, take a look: http://loufranco.com/habits

Re: Quick And Easy GTD With Task Writer

Hey thanks for the information. keep it coming.
